Rare Mint Condition 2nd Gen M-1951 Fishtail Parka by Albatross-Franz Mayer Corp

This is a beautiful parka in mint condition and by looking at the ink stamps, pulley cords etc, etc the parka looks like it has never been worn. The colour retention is like brand new.

The ink stamps normally fade with wear, and the ink stamps here are as bright as the day the parka was produced back in the early 1950s. The liner is also pristine and is the heavier alpaca wool type. Extremely warm to wear. The alpaca wool liner was manufactured by Hudson Garment Co. INC.

The only fault I can see is a small area of fading to the front right bottom when wearing. This is most likely due to storage over the many years.
