The M-1951 parka is the first choice for those wanting the original vintage mod parka. Produced in 1951 by the US Army, this was " the " fishtail parka the original mods wore in 1960's Britain. Today, 60+ years later, they are one of the most rare and sought after fashion icons.

Every parka we handle undergoes a complete inspection and restoration process to ensure it is ready to wear and appreciate in value. Before being classed as ready to go, every M-51 is professionally cleaned and inspected and undergoes a complete restoration of repairs, replacing zips, poppers, cuffs, buttons or indeed anything that needs doing to make it up to our standards and our standards for what is ready to go is simple. If I would not wear it, I will not sell it. Hence why Film Stars, Rock Stars, TV and Magazines come to us and everyone gets the same level of top end service.

The end result is that every parka is in the best possible condition for 60+ years old and each parka comes complete with a fully restored original M-51 liner and we even re-trim the M-51 hoods with fresh new real fur.
We remove the wire from the hood when we re-fur it so the hood will hang correctly :)

Most importantly, our "custom" order system means you are not taking a " chance " of getting the right fit, its mean you will get it. Delivery Times UK, EU, and Worldwide

OK few notes on delivery times etc, as stated clearly we aim to dispatch the majority of all orders within 2 to 3 days of receipt of payment. Specific customisation work may mean that the order can take up to 7 days prior to dispatch. Please contact us if you should need to discuss.

UK Mainland | Our couriers are either Royal Mail or DPD who provide a Next Day delivery service for all UK Mainland orders. You will receive a dispatch text message, or email with a one hour delivery window notification.

UK Off Shore & Scottish Highlands | We use Royal Mail Special Next Day delivery for all Off Shore orders under 2kg. Above 2kg have to be sent via DPD.

EU Orders | are sent via Royal Mail and should arrive with you within 3 to 5 days once the order is dispatched.

WW Orders Under 2kg | orders under 2kg in weight are sent via Royal Mail as long as the destination offers a fully tracked service. If not, we send via a courier service and sometimes it necessary to contact the customer for any difference in price owed. Delivery times for Royal Mail are normally 5 to 7 days. Courier service delivery times are normally 2 to 3 days.
WW Orders 2kg & Above | All orders over 2kg are sent via UPS, or TNT and only take 2 to 5 days for USA, Austrailia etc. The service is fully tracked.

All goods must be returned in the same new condition has they were dispatched. No refunds will be issued for goods returned that are deemed to be in a poor condition. If we are unable to sell the returned item(s) then we will not issue a refund. Any tags should be left intact and the goods should not be worn out. We have had several parka coats returned recently absolutely stinking of smoke. This is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. Goods smelling of smoke are no longer in new condition and cannot be sold. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR ITEMS RETURNED SMELLING OF SMOKE.
