When I opened the box, I was thrilled. As describe, the parka and liner were in near unissued condition. In fact, they were spectacular! Received my M-1951 Parka today.It fits perfectly for my requirements, i.e. to wear it over my business suit, to commute to work on my Scoot, just as we discussed and you promised.
It was more than I wanted to pay originally, but for a piece of history, born around the same time as me, it is worth every penny, and indeed more, (which I never ever admit)
Putting it on transports me to a different time and place, the fondly remembered past, recapturing some of my happy adolescent memories.

A quick background.
The german dealer; Sylvius Gerber aka fishtailparkas.de has for many years now been a complete pain in the ass for all concerned.
His latest stunt is to try and "Trademark" the term "fishtailparkas" in a bid to block anyone else from selling them and force anyone seeking a fishtail parka to buy from him.
We are asking all of you to simply spare a few mins to fill out a simple tick box questionairre which will go towards our legal case in the EU courts to block this fool and end this silly charade.
Personally, we think Fishtail Parkas is a generic term and nobody has the right to trademark it whatsoever and nobody has the right to dictate to you, where you buy from neither.
I beleive that choice should be yours and you will choose the best offer for you.
